Run-Tested Playlist: Old School R&R for Mike

One of our users reached out and asked if we knew of any good 60's and 70's Rock 'n Roll tunes that worked with Cruise Control to help him train for the Senior Olympics. Some of us were not even a glimmer in our daddies' eyes when this music was recorded, but there are a few of us around here that know good rock 'n roll when we hear it! So, here are some tunes for CC user Mike and other old school fans. And yes, we know, not all of it was recorded before the 1980 but we think you will like it anyway.
  1. Rock and Roll - Led Zeppelin
  2. Green River - CCR
  3. Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Queen
  4. You Don't Know How It Feels - Tom Petty
  5. Paint It Black - The Rolling Stones
  6. Don't Do It - The Band
  7. Can't Stand Losing You - The Police
  8. The Joker - The Steve Miller Band
  9. Walk of Life - Dire Straights
  10. Let it Grow - Eric Clapton
  11. Heart of Gold - Neil Young
  12. In Your Eyes - Peter Gabriel
  13. Can't Run But - Paul Simon
  14. Devil Inside - INXS
  15. Southern Man - Neil Young
  16. Kashmir - Led Zeppelin
Run-Tested Playlists are a collection of songs that we, and our users, love Cruisin' to. These songs have a beat that is very easy to follow and are very likely to make it through the app's tempo analyzer. But, we can't guarantee it - it turns out that the iTunes store encodes the same songs in a bunch of different ways depending upon which country you are in. Want more tunes to cruise to? We'll post a new playlist of some of our favorites here periodically or follow @CruiseCtrlRun for more frequent recommendations.
