What sensors will work with Cruise Control?

Heart Rate
ANT+: Cruise Control should work with all heart rate monitors that use the ANT+ protocol as long as you have an ANT+ key for your iPhone. Here are examples of an ANT+ monitor and key from our friends at www.wahoofitness.com. Note: we don't think that anyone sells ANT+ keys for the iPhone 5 yet.

Bluetooth Smart: Cruise Control should work with all heart rate monitors that use Bluetooth Smart. No key required. This really only applies to iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 users as prior iPhones did not have this particular Bluetooth protocol. Here is an example of a Bluetooth Smart HR monitor from www.wahoofitness.com.

Pace
ANT+: Cruise Control should work with all stride sensors that use the ANT+ protocol as long as you have an ANT+ key for your iPhone. Here are examples of an ANT+ stride sensor and key from our friends at www.wahoofitness.com. There are lots of others (Garmin, adidas, etc.). As noted above, we don't think that anyone sells ANT+ keys for the iPhone 5 yet. Also note that Cruise Control is designed to work well without an external pace sensor.

Bluetooth Smart: There are no Bluetooth Smart Stride sensors on the market that we are aware of.

What about other sensors? Nope. All of the other ones that we are aware of either are not designed for running (e.g. cycling cadence sensors) or use a proprietary communication protocol (e.g. Nike shoe sensor).
